The Enneagram For Individuals
The Enneagram is a powerful tool for personal growth and self-understanding. It brings awareness to the unconscious motivations that drive our automatic patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. While many approaches focus primarily on changing behavior, the Enneagram invites us to look beneath the surface and explore the deeper motivations, beliefs, and strategies that shape our experience of ourselves and the world.
Through Enneagram work, we develop what is often called the "inner observer" — the capacity to notice our patterns as they are happening in real time. As self-awareness grows, we become less identified with automatic reactions and more capable of making conscious choices. Rather than operating solely from our personality structure, we begin responding from a deeper place of presence, wisdom, and authenticity.
Why It Helps
Have you ever wondered, "Why do I keep doing the same thing even when it doesn't work?" Many people find themselves repeating the same patterns in relationships, work, or other areas of life despite their best intentions. The Enneagram offers valuable insight — helping us understand not only what we do, but why we do it.
Each Enneagram type has a particular focus of attention, a lens through which it interprets reality. By observing where our attention goes and following those patterns to their roots, we begin to uncover the assumptions, fears, and longings that have shaped us — and to recognize both the gifts and limitations of our personality.
Perhaps most importantly, the Enneagram cultivates compassion. As we come to understand our own motivations and struggles, we develop greater kindness toward ourselves and a deeper appreciation for the ways others experience the world. The goal is not to become a better version of our type, but to become more awake, more present, and more free.
What We Offer
Typing Interviews
The first step in Enneagram work is discovering your type. Our typing interviews are one-hour guided conversations, offered in person or by Zoom, designed to help you identify your type through reflection and dialogue rather than a quiz. A typing interview can stand alone as a meaningful introduction to the Enneagram, or serve as preparation for a workshop, class, or coaching.
Classes
We offer group classes for those who want to explore the Enneagram in community, including our type-specific deep dive workshops. [View Upcoming Workshops] We also bring the Enneagram to existing groups — book clubs, community organizations, and gatherings of all kinds. If you have a group interested in learning together, contact us to explore what a class could look like.
Coaching
For those seeking deeper, personalized work, we offer one-on-one coaching available as ongoing sessions or packages. Cindy Wiley provides individual coaching for personal growth, drawing on her decades of experience in counseling, as well as spiritual direction for those who want to explore the Enneagram as a path of spiritual deepening. Ginger Jefferson offers leadership coaching for professionals seeking to grow their effectiveness and self-awareness as leaders.
